Why Mumbai is my favourite city when it comes to driving

Which city comes in your mind when you and your friends are planning for a drive?

A drive is a great fun when we move out of our homes to discover new places by driving through the place with our vehicle. When we are planning for drive no matter if the drive is with our friends, family members or even a drive with just me and my car, we always look for a place which is best in terms of Drive, Design and connect.

First of all the feature of drive is very important as this is one of the primary things we keep in our mind while deciding a route for a drive. We decide those routes which give is the best driving experience and for a best driving experience we always look for a place which has the best roads. While looking for the best road we look for that road which is smoother, doesn't have holes, has very less speed breakers and also the road is very broad so that we don't face any kinds of obstacles such as a traffic jam which can spoil our fun of driving.

The next thing we look for is the design of the road. Generally we love to drive on roads which are either completely straight or flat or they have many twists and turns. A flat and straight road allows you to take your car which ever speed you want and a route with many twists and turns also gives a great driving experience. We also look for routes which have more number of highways or express ways so that the journey goes long without any interval.

The road which connects many other places within a shorter and straight route is also loved by people when they are planning for a drive across the city. A drive across the city is fun as you can visit many other places inside the city in a single drive.

When I keep all these features in mind, there is only on city which pops in my mind. And that city is in fact the place where I currently stay, the city of dreams, Mumbai. I have been living in this city since the last 7 years and these are the reasons why it stands up to be my favourite city when it comes to driving:

1. Smooth Driving Experience:
Although there are maximum number of potholes on the roads of Mumbai during the rainy season, we still get a comfortable driving experience overall. Except for a few places with huge traffic jams, the other parts of Mumbai can be rated be better with respect to many other cities across India.

2. Design of the city:
Mumbai stands average when it comes to design, there are IT parks, big hotels, International Airport, Railways and Bus stations which add to the beauty of the city. But the city is still developing and there are many places in which need to be redesigned. But on the other hand roads of Mumbai are well designed and it gives a metropolitan feel when we drive across various express ways, flyovers and the Worli Sea Link.

3. Connectivity in the city:
There are all kinds of transportation services like buses, local trains, auto rickshaws, taxi, cab, trucks, metro, monorail, etc. which help you to travel across the city. The roads in Mumbai support all kinds of vehicles and the land transport system connects you to every corner of the city via the land route.

These are the reasons why I feel that Mumbai is #madeofgreat city and I find it the best when it comes to driving.

Sugar Free Chocolate Vanilla Ice cream Sandwich.

We do eat a lot of cakes during many occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, parties, etc. But have you ever tried to eat Chocolate vanilla Ice cream Sandwich. Many of us might have had this but we might be calling it with different names. Today I will be sharing the recipe on how to make Chocolate vanilla ice cream sandwich, but there is some twist is the recipe. I will be adding Sugar Free Natura, and will be explaining you how you can prepare this recipe free of sugar without compromising on the taste just by replacing the sugar with Sugar free Natura.

Here are the ingredients of the recipe:

1.     All-purpose flour (2 cups).
2.     Butter (Half cup).
3.     Powdered Sugar (Half cup).
4.     Cocoa Powder (1 cup).
5.     Milk (1 cup).
6.     Condensed milk (Half cup).
7.     Baking powder (2 tsp.)
8.     Baking Soda (1 tsp.)
9.     Vanilla Ice cream (1 Litre pack Available in Market).
Here are the steps on how to make the Chocolate Vanilla Ice cream Sandwich. First we need to prepare a chocolate cake.

1.     Mix all-purpose flour, Cocoa powder, Baking Soda and Baking powder properly. Use a sieve to strain it. This will mix them properly.
2.     Now mix Butter, Powdered sugar and Condensed Milk properly till the mixture becomes fluffy. After the mixture becomes fluffy, add a little milk to dilute the mixture.
3.     Now add the mixture of the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda to the mixture of Butter, sugar and condensed milk. Mix them well and stir only in one direction. Now our paste is ready.
4.     Now take a square or rectangular container, grease it using butter and butter paper and then add the paste. Shake the container well so that the paste spreads well in the container.
5.     Preheat the oven at 180 degree centigrade and place the container inside it. Bake it on the same temperature for 25 minutes.
6.     Now our cake is ready. Remove it out of the oven and cool it at room temperature. After it gets cooled down, remove the cake out of the container and then cut it in the size of approx. 1 cm in height. You can select the length and width according to you. Make sure all the pieces are cut in approximate same dimensions.
7.     Take Vanilla Ice cream out of the Fridge and cut them in the same sizes as you had cut the cake.
8.     Put the Ice cream between two cake blocks and serve them. You can also use chocolate cream and dry fruits to decorate the dessert.
If you may have noticed, we have used a lot of sugar in this recipe due to which it is not advised to be serve to Heart and diabetes patients. But they are also human beings and they also may wish to have this delicious dessert. So do we have any solution for them?

Yes, I will suggest you to use artificial sweeteners instead of sugar. The best fact about artificial sweeteners is that they are very healthy and diet friendly. I will be suggesting you to use Sugar Free Natura. 9 Tablets or Pellets of Sugar Free Natura are equivalent to one Tablespoon of Sugar. So you can use around 25-30 tablets of Sugar Free Natura to get the same taste in the dessert what you got using natural sugar, but the best fact about using Natura Sugar is that it won't affect the health of Heart and Diabetes patients. And everyone in your family from your grandparents to you and your children can enjoy this dessert without any worries of health issues.

Clothing methods for perfect skin care of a baby.

Clothing is one of the most important topic of concern for a mother when it comes to dressing her baby. Every mother loves dressing her baby with new colorful clothes so that her baby looks cute and loving and also she makes sure that the clothes that have been put on her baby really make the baby feel comfortable.

Sometimes even a little negligence can prove to be a big danger for a baby's skin and it becomes very important for a mother to select clothes that do not harm her baby's skin. Here are the 5 things a mother should consider for a baby's clothing that are safe for the baby's skin:

Dress a baby only with cotton clothes:

Cotton clothes are natural and they do not contain any harmful chemicals in the cloth material which is really very healthy for a baby's skin.Cotton clothes also keep the baby cool and comfortable in all the seasons. Hence it is highly recommended for a mother to only dress a baby with clothes made up of cotton.

Avoid artificial clothes which look a little fancy.

Clothes in earlier days of a baby should only be meant for covering the baby's body completely from top to bottom. Nowadays we find many fancy clothes coming in the market which are highly not recommended to mothers as they can cause rashes on the skin of a baby.

Avoid using Langots

Langots are being tied on a baby since ages and it is a traditional way of dressing a baby. But during those days we did not have advanced technology and that is the reason why we used to use Langots. Also another reason is that nowadays there are many things in the air that can cause infections. A baby's private parts need to be handled with perfect care so that the baby stays healthy. People are still debating on the topic whether Langots are better than diapers or vice-versa, but according to me I feel that diapers also provide with good absorbing capabilities and that is the reason why it keeps the baby's skin dry and healthy.

Use good diapers

As discussed earlier that the diapers provide a good soaking capability, they also provide good comforts to the baby and always help maintaining a smile on the face of a baby. They also prevent infections from entering a baby's body which I feel is the biggest advantage of using diapers.

Avoid using artificially colored clothes

It is recommended to mothers that they should only use clothes with either white or some lighter colors. Dark colors contain chemicals which can cause rashes on a baby's skin hence mothers should avoid using them.

These were 5 clothing tips for mothers for their babies, thanks for reading them and I hope my tips may help you. Readers will be appreciated if they share their experiences in the comments section, Thank you.

Pampers brings you the softest ever Pampers Premium Care Pants. Its cotton-like softness is #SoftestForBabySkin and allows it to breathe, thus keeping baby’s skin soft and healthy, and your baby happy.

5 things for a baby's perfect skin care.

Babies are best hings that happen to a mother and every mother puts her best efforts in taking care of her baby. A mother wakes up early in the morning and and does all her work trying to avoid even a single noise which can affect her baby's sleep, also she puts all her luxuries aside to make the baby feel comfortable. She takes the baby for a bath, massages the baby's entire body, dresses her with good clothes and then sings, dances and makes drama all day to entertain her baby and make the baby happy.

Besides all this there is one of the most important thing that a mother needs to take care about her baby and that is the baby's skin. There are almost many ways how a mother takes care of her baby's skin, some are natural ways which are being followed since ages and the other ones are the new methods that the latest science research has suggested to keep the baby skin safe. Here are the 5 things according to me that can help to keep a baby's skin softer and healthy:

Using cotton balls instead of rough clothes.

Generally people use old clothes to wipe out the wastes on a baby's skin but that in some way is also harmful for baby's skin. Rough clothes do help us clean that portion but that indirectly is more harmful for the baby as there are chances of rashes due to this. I will suggest the mothers to use soft cotton as it can absorb away the liquid and also it is softer in feel.

Avoid using ordinary talcum powder

Nowadays talcum powders come with some harmful chemicals. Those chemicals are added so that it can give a good fragrance also it helps in leaving some cooling effect. Mothers generally use it during summer so that baby stays cool and rashes are prevented. But this theory is wrong, that talcum powder is harmful for the baby.

Use proper moisturizers.

Moisturize a baby's skin rather than keeping it wet. A wet skin can make the baby feel uncomfortable, it may invite infection on a baby's skin and also it can cause her cold. But on the other side moisturizers help in keeping baby's skin softer, smoother, comfortable and act like a shield that prevents infections to enter the body.

Don't use besan.

Using besan on a baby's skin so that it makes the skin more fairer is being followed since ages, but that really doesn't help the baby and it is also harmful for the baby's skin cells. If things like besan would have helped making skin fairer then I think there would have been no black human existing on this planet. But the truth is that it harms a baby's skin rather than making it fairer.

Use proper diapers.

Diapers are really very important for a baby's skin, there used to be days in our childhood when our mothers used to tie us 'Langots' but today science has given us some more better methods and products which helps us keep the baby skin soft and also avoids any type infections getting into a baby's skin.

A baby's skin is something that requires a proper care, do make sure you as a mother take the best care of your baby.

Pampers brings you the softest ever Pampers Premium Care Pants. Its cotton-like softness is #SoftestForBabySkin and allows it to breathe, thus keeping baby’s skin soft and healthy, and your baby happy.

Real Togetherness at Kissanpur

How will you define your meaning for Real Togetherness?

You may say that Real togetherness means having those selected people around you whom you love and care the most and in return they too care for you equally. But due to our busy schedule the meaning of real togetherness for us has only limited us to connect with each other via the social networks or calling each other once or twice a week.

We all have great memories from our past which have the best real togetherness moments captured in them but having the same time again is a dream that we a have but due to on or the other reasons our life restricts us from doing it. I remember my days of childhood when I and my three other friends Maria, Joel and Jessica used to spend hours in our college campus bunking lectures and enjoying the golden days of our life. Maria used to play Guitar very well and we used to sit in the garden facing each other and used to sing songs on the melodies payed by her. Then we used to remove our lunch boxes and every one of us used to eat a little from everyone's lunch box. We grew up in those days when there was no great advancement in technology so we didn't had smart phones with 5 Megapixels camera and hence taking a selfie was something what none of us knew. But we still used to take selfies of each other with the most loving and creative way drawing sketches of each other. And then in the evening we used to go to the famous tea stall outside our college, a cup of tea with some biscuits was something that we used to have in our own way by dipping the biscuits inside the tea and then waiting for the tea to cool down a little. And then all four of us used to return back to our homes on our bicycles. Those days were really awesome where all four of us were each other's life and each of us used to care about others equally.

Looking to our lives now, things have changed much compared to what it used to be a few years before. Everyone has their own life and have settled in different parts of the world and everyone has their own families to look after now. But after having a throwback to the past and replaying all the memories we had recorded in those days, I feel that I want to live in those days again where all four of us used to spend time in a natural surroundings. And to do that I would like to take everyone to Kissanpur where we can step out of the digital world we are living in today to a world of love, happiness and joy. Here is a video of Kissanpur made by Kissan where you can experience Real Togetherness with your loved ones.

Decision that changed everything

Sometimes we take some different decisions in our life that turns out to be the master key for our success in our future and gives our life a new start. Today I am here with another #SachchiAdvice story of my life advised to me by one of  my professional friend that changed many things for me and gave me a chance to live my life from a new start.

This was a time few years back when I moved from my job to my personal business. I had completed my Masters in Commerce and got a job as a marketing manager in a private firm. Being a student of commerce I was well aware about starting a new business and managing it.
After completing seven years of job in a private firm where I started as an assistant and ended as a Senior Marketing Manager, I decided to take a move and start my own business. I think this thing is common between many people in the same profession where they work in some company for a few years and get the experience to start their own business. I also started my business of imports and exports.

It was a little difficult for me in the start to set the business and make big profits, but being in the same profession for years had made me knew about it well before I started my business. I used to travel different places and find something new available there and get them in my business my buying those goods from there and selling them to other dealers. In the start I had to face loss when some products did not work in the market but then I used to manage them to sell them to local dealers in a discounted price.

At some point of my journey I even thought of leaving everything and getting back to my job but still I had some faith on myself which made me work very hard. A few years later success started coming to me and it made me work even much harder. After many ups and downs in my business I finally found it a little adjusted after three years. Now my company was known by many people on the same business and had gain a lot of respect from others as well. Slowly we expanded our business and started recruiting many new employees with us.

It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.
-Tony Robbins
Decisions play a very important role in our lives. A life is a game with full of challenges and to win this games you need to take proper decisions at times to overcome those challenges and win this game called Life. Decisions which are taken by us should not be the ones which just help us getting out of a problem, but they should provide us that jump in our life which helps us successfully reach our destinies.

My life changing decision was leaving my home is Ahmedabad, Gujarat and coming to Mumbai in search for some work. There is always a trend for all those people living in villages to come to a city, and for people living in other cities of India to come to Mumbai or New Delhi or Bengaluru, and the people who stay in metropolitan cities have a dream of going to countries like the United States, England or European Countries. Same was for me, I had completed my Masters in Commerce from Ahmedabad in Gujarat and it was time for me to prove my abilities by getting a challenging job opportunity. I took a decision with the help of my dad where he advised me to work in an established company at Mumbai.

It was tough for a girl who has never visited Mumbai ever in her life to come here and stay, but when you have a Super Dad like my Father Mr. Dharmesh Patel, nothing is impossible. My dad came with me and stayed for two months with me so that I can feel comfortable in the city. Soon I caught up with the speed of this city and after 7 years today I am well settled in this city.

This decision was tough for me, but all I knew was that I had to face it to be successful in my life. Thanks to my family who always supported me for this. This was my #SachchiAdvice, thanks for reading. I would love if the readers share their life changing decisions in the comments section.

Transforming My Room into a Vintage Look

Source

We all love designing and decorating the place we stay at, we want to make it look the best place in the world. I also try different things with my room on the days when I have holidays, it gives me a different pleasure and a feeling of happiness whenever I decorate my room. Now I have a dream to transform my room into a vintage look and design it the way it appears to me in my dreams.

The first thing to do is decide on a theme for your home interior.
It is better to avoid the wild-looking mix ’n’ match effect if you are not an expert. It’s risky, for instance, to randomly mix ’50s chic with ’60s pop and ’70s decadence. Usually, it’s better to choose one era and style which is inspiring to you.  If you really want to try different moods and looks, change the inspiration from room to room.

Focal point

Every room should have retro furniture or something that immediately catches the eye and instantly sets the mood. For example:
For a ’60s sitting room, a floral print armchair or a wooden coffee table with a brightly coloured old telephone on it, or a few classic vinyl records resting by the fireplace.

Lighting design

The main characteristic of vintage lighting is warmth, for nostalgic charm. Instead of one bright light, have several light sources at varying heights to provide ambiance. If you have one, don’t forget that a chandelier itself is a highly distinctive piece of furniture.

‘Bright’ names to seek out

You might not be able to invest in an authentic original, but have a look at classic lamps from key periods then hunt out similar designs in your nearest charity shops. Let's start with the 1950s: elegant chrome-plated steel lamps by Alvar Aalto or metallic lamps by Serge Mouille. The 60s: classic arc floor lamps based on the Arco lamp, or the Tolomeo and Falkland styles. The 70s: simple table and floor lamps, adjustable styles like the Ipotenusa and Parentesi, designed by Achille Castiglioni.

Memories as art

Put together combinations of your ‘memorabilia’ and retro items – this creates an easy and inexpensive design feature and allows you to mix and match a little. Simply fix shelves to the wall that vary in color and thickness, then, just as you would see in an old shop, arrange tin boxes, antique knick knacks, an old teapot etc on the shelves. Be guided by whatever reflects your own style. The important thing is to use this unexpected display to create a feast for the eyes.

Unbelievable Speed #Airtel4G

Internet has now become a very important part of our life. Today it is impossible to survive even for a few minutes without an internet connection. Tweets, chats, status updates, likes, shares, comments, selfies and lots are more are something that bring small packets of happiness in our lives whenever they pop on our mobile's notification bar, and of course the only reason behind this happiness is the internet.

If I take my example, the first thing that clicks in my mind when I wake up in the morning is to turn the mobile data on. No day starts for me until I don't wish Good Morning to my loved ones and I can't get a sound sleep at night until I finish talking to my parents via a video call. Internet is one of the very special gifts gifted to us by the developing technology. No matter in whichever part of the world you reside, the only thing that will connect you to another other place in the world is internet.

Even Internet has its own history, starting from the 90's till today it has developed on a very vast scale. My elder cousins shared with me about their experiences of using the internet in the earlier days of their life, for them sending a mail successfully was equal to downloading a video from the internet nowadays. Internet became a lifeline for all of us after it was introduced to the mobile phones, and soon with the passing time it developed from 2G to 3G and today we have the 4G services available in our country.

Those were the days a few years ago when we used to use 2G, the 2G services at that time gave maximum speed of 15-25 Kilobytes per Second which hardly used to download songs for us. Then came the 3G services which made a phenomenal change in the internet speeds taking it to 500- 1000 Kilobytes per second. And today we have Airtel who have launched the 4G services in India. The 4G services give provide you with a speed in Megabytes per second which is something that we don't get even from the cable internet connection installed on our computers.

Airtel 4G is be the first telecom service to roll out 4G services in India and it will be available in 296 cities. And the best part of it is that the 4G service will be available at the same cost that we pay for the 3G services. Here are a few things I would love to do with the Airtel 4G services:

·        Video calling with my parents without lags and distortion.
·        No overnight movie downloads.
·        Stream live cricket match anywhere.
·        Watch my favorite TV shows anytime and anywhere on YouTube.

This was all that I would do, check out this video about the Airtel 4G service and share your plans with this unbelievable speed in the comments box given below.

My Way of Loving my Home.

"Home is the heart of life...
Home is where we feel at ease, where we belong,
where we can create surroundings that reflect our tastes and pleasures...
Making a home is a form of creativity open to everyone."
 - Terence Conran

A Home is a place where we start from. With some loving care it wishes us Goodbye when we move out of it and all its affection and memories makes us rush towards it at the time we are returning back from work. We in return share our emotions by decorating it with love every now and then to make it look more beautiful than yesterday. I too love decorating my home to make it look more beautiful on every new day. Here is my way of decorating my home to make it look more beautiful than yesterday:

Defining your style.

Just as your wardrobe reveals whether you are spontaneous, daring or detail-oriented, your home is also a reflection of your personality. It is crucial to visualize the style you want for your home. If you like warm, cozy spaces, then you might prefer traditional or rustic furnishings: brass lamps, cushy sofas and deep-pile carpets. Other styles to consider are classic, modern, rustic and eclectic.

Choose the “main element.”

In each room, you need to choose a main element to serve as the focal point for the decor. Will it be the color palette or the fabrics? The furniture? Or will the architecture of the house take center stage? Choosing just one element clarifies your options; otherwise, the infinite design possibilities can be overwhelming.

Color palette

The next step is selecting the color palette that best matches the style you have chosen. Experts recommend the use of nontraditional colors; don’t just fall back on the ordinary. Take into account that the color you choose, whether warm or cool, should complement your main element.

Playing with the design

Make a diagram of your house and place the fabric samples and the palette, and then add cutouts of furniture for each room you are going to decorate. Experts say that this is a good time to incorporate your favorite objects: heirlooms, that beloved armoire, your favorite paintings, photographs or travel souvenirs. You can also add any ideas from design magazines to achieve a home that will inspire you.

Create a final version

Many different ideas will appeal to you, so you need to follow a simple rule: if you prefer neutral colors for the walls, then you will have more scope for creativity or audacity with the furniture. But if you choose warm colors for the walls, then your choice of furniture is more limited, since the overall look must harmonize and not clash.

The Castle of My Dreams #ColgateMagicalStories

"Your Imagination is your preview of Life's coming attractions"
-Albert Einstein

Creativity and imaginations are things that can take you anywhere you want. And when things come to imagination, there is nothing so creative in this world that can't be imagined by children. Children have a their own worlds of imaginations, from the stories they listen, from the cartoon shows they watch, etc. where the live with happiness and joy.

Here is an imaginative story of magical castle by my daughter Asmita,

I gave her packs of Colgate and she created a short story which was narrated by her in the form of a short poem written by me.

The Castle of My Dreams

It was a dark night,
I was sleeping holding my pillows tight,
When I dreamed about my magical castle.

Between a forest dense green,
Covered with trees long and thin,
Animals and birds lived without any hassle.

Colored with shiny gold,
My castle look bold,
Ruled by a King who loved kids.

The King was Handsome,
The King was Strong,
Who fulfilled every child's needs.

A beautiful Queen,
A brave Prince,
A charming Princess,
Completed the Royal Family.

One day, when everyone was happy,
There came a Witch,
Little Ugly, Little Crappy.

She saw the Princess and was jealous of her beauty,
She gave her a creamy cake which was tasty and fruity.

After eating the cake,
 The princess fainted,
The witch was happy,
Because it was all she wanted.

She kidnapped away the princess,
But a knight saw her on the way.
The Knight tried to fight with her,
But she defeated and ran away.

The injured Knight told this to the King,
The sky turned grey and the birds stopped to sing.

The prince was sad,
And the king started to cry,
The King pointed his magical stick up towards the sky.

The kingdom was magical,
was something that the witch was not aware.
The witch burnt into fire,
And the King saved the Princess with care.

The witch turned into ash,
and all the evil disappeared.
Happiness, fun and joy was all what reappeared.

And finally all started living happily,
In my magical castle of dreams.

If you liked my daughter's video, then here are few more lovely stories by Colgate in the playlist given below. Do have a look at it, you will love it for sure.

Colgate Magical Castle

Every Child is a Different
Kind of Flower
And all together make this world a
Beautiful Garden

Imagination is the soil that brings dreams to life, and children have a great power of imagination. Sometimes they can imagine such things that we as adults could never even think of, making stories out of episodes of a cartoon show or dreaming about a fairy tale. The innocence of our childhood is something we all miss after we grow adults. Those days are really amazing, we have no worries in our mind and every day has something new for us.

To add a few more pages to the books of imagination of my son Moksh and his friend Shaun, I gave them a pack of Colgate which has a Magical Castle inside for them. Moksh is a 9 year old boy who is studying in Grade 4 of his primary education. Shaun is one of his very best friend who is 5 year old and studies in Kindergarten. Both of them had a very good time discovering their magical castle inside the Colgate box. Here is a video about the excitement and fun they had and the creative imagination they used to build their Magical Castle gifted to them by Colgate.

Ria's Max Fresh Move

Dance is the hidden language of the Soul and the Body
Dancing is something which makes your entire body to express the happiness inside you, it is not something which can be done by copying others, rather its a form of happiness which comes from you in the form of dancing moves. It expresses the layer of freshness running inside you, making you to forget about all your worries and rejoice completely in the present moment. In the last article of the #MaxFreshMove contest I had shared a few steps by Allu Arjun that can energize any moment, and in this article I have a video in which my daughter Ria will be performing a few of those steps to show her #MaxFreshMove.

Ria is that kind of a person who generally takes a long time to open up in front of people, with family members she still talks a little but she always feels shy when some of our relatives talk to her. It was a rainy evening when she was sitting sadly because could not go out to play, and as a mother I can't see my baby sitting lonely in a corner. I switched on the television and played a music channel to bring her back to her mood, but nothing helped. Then I thought of showing her the video of the Colgate Max Fresh Ad which had Anushka Manchanda's voice and Allu Arjun's moves. For the first minute she was only looking at the song, but at the very next moment she started copying Allu Arjun's steps. That video energised my silent Ria into a dancing one, and nowadays she even makes her grandparents dance on this soundtrack.

I am dancing for #MaxFreshMove activity at BlogAdda. If you are not blogging, you can join me by participating in this #MaxFreshMove facebook activity.

Goodness of Natural Oils #FirstLove

If you are a parent of a new born baby or if you are going to give birth to a new born baby, then this article is for you. Becoming a parent is one of the best happiness in the world, a smile of your small child makes you forget about every sorrows you have in your life. But becoming a parent is not everything, becoming a parent brings you a few responsibilities and out of which one of the major responsibility is taking care of your child's health. No parent can feel relaxed if they see even a drop of tear in their child's health.

As a parent we take a lot of care about our child from the food that we should feed to the child to the color of clothes that our child should wear. And the most important step towards taking care of our baby's health is done by every parent in the form of giving massage. Every mom gives a massage to her baby when the baby is very small. A massage is very important for a baby as it helps in the physical development of a child.

When a question is asked to every mother about which oil does she use to massage her baby, there will be a few names in the answers but the twist in the story arises when they are asked if the oil is natural or does it contains chemicals. There are many products available in the market which may contain chemical or may not contain. The ones which contain chemicals do promise that it will help the child's physical development to happen faster and many of the products even show the results, but they have a drawback that they may cause many skin problems to the baby in the younger part of his/her life.

Natural oils on the other hand give the same results and they do not even cause any future harms to the baby. Here are a few benefits of natural oils about how they help in the physical growth of your baby's body:

  • A small baby is born with more than 300 parts of bones, which further develop to for the 206 bones of our body. This process sometimes give a lot of pain to the baby. Almond extracts in natural oil act as a pain killer and also helps in nourishing the newly formed bones.
  • Olive extracts help for the development of a better digestive system.
  • They also contain the vital nutrients such as the vitamins and the minerals which provide a good skin to the baby.
  • They do not contain any chemicals, hence they avoid the future problems that can cause to your baby such as body rashes and skin darkening.
  • They help in improving the immune system of the body.
So the message is clear that you should use natural oils to massage a baby. If you are searching for a good natural oil then I will suggest you to buy Dabur Baby Massage Oil with Oilve and Almond. This is not for promotion but in fact I have a real life experience which has proved about its promising results. One of my neighbor Aarti gave birth to a baby boy about 8 months ago, she used normal oils such as coconut oil to massage him but there were no good signs of development in her son. I suggested her about this oil about two months back, and now she herself feels my suggestion was right. Her son is only 8 months and he has started crawling. Which I feel is something very good at this age.

Readers will be appreciated to share their experiences in the comments section.

Natural Oils

Do you remember those days of your childhood when your mom used to massage your entire body with oil before sending you for a bath? Well, you were very small that time and you needed a lot of care which is taken for you by your mom. You mom used to hold you tight between her thighs and then she used to give you a toy to play in your hand and them when you started playing with it she used to gently lay you on her laps and give a comfortable oil massage on your entire body.

You were very small that time and you may have noticed what special types of oils she used while giving you a massage. Well, now you are grown up and may be you still take a body massage by going to a spa centre, but the oils which are put on you inside the spa are way different than what kinds if oils your mom used to massage you in your childhood. The oils which are used in the spa may contain a lot of chemicals and their final aim is to relax your body, but the oils which your mom used at that time were not only meant to relax you, but they were also meant to give your skin, bones and muscle a complete nourishment.

Those were natural oils and they contained almond and olive extracts in them. At that time you might not now what are the benefits of natural oils, but today in this article you will surely know about the benefits of those oils. Here are the benefits of natural oils that help for a better skin, bone and muscle development:

  • Natural oils contain vital vitamins and minerals which provide you a soft and fluffy skin.
  • The almond extracts act like an effective pain killer which minimizes the pains that is caused du to bone development in your body and nourishes the bones so that they are stronger from inside.
  • Natural oils do provide a better hair health, it does it by implanting proteins of keratin which help you to get stronger and longer hair in your future.
  • Natural oils do not contain any toxin as they are chemical free and instead they help your skin from absorbing toxin from the air.

7 Hair care tips for silky and smooth hair

Inspiring from the articles on Reward Me, here is my second article for the category 'Hair care' where I will be sharing seven hair care tips for summer based on my personal experience. In a hot country like India, the summer season is something what your hair doesn't likes at all. And in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Chennai, summer days are experienced almost for the entire year.

Taking a proper care of your hair becomes very necessary in Summers. And the reason behind this is that this season can get your hair dry, rough and prone to sun damage. This can result as your hair becoming weaker day by day and you can even start losing your hair. And hence you need to take a proper care of your hair. I have shared some tips based on some internet research and personal experience which will help you to maintain your hair smooth and silky even in summers.

Natural Hair care tips for silky and smooth hair in summers:

Hair conditioner

Using a hair conditioner on every alternate days will help you fight all your hair problems in a lot better way.

Protect your hair by covering them.

It is advisable to avoid the direct contact of your hair with the hot sun rays. Use an umbrella or a hat with sunglasses to avoid their exposure to direct sun.

Hair Washing

Summer means a lot of sweat and oil extracts is going to get collected in your hair after a long day work. Washing your hair for just a few minutes will not help you. You should wash your hair very properly and gently for minimum 10 minutes with any shampoo that suits your hair.

Hot oil Massaging

Hot oil massaging is the best solution that can be done to avoid rough and dry hair in summers. Massage your hair using oils such as olive oil, coconut oil and almond oil. Try to take a massage at least once a day.

Oily scalp treatment

If your scalp generally remains oily then you are going to face a lots of problems in summers, as this problem will not be in your control during the summers. I have a solution that requires not extra cosmetics, it can be prepared easily at home. This solution is to apply Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse after you are done washing your hair properly.

The method is very easy, all you need to do is take half cup of apple cider vinegar and add a little water to it. Mix it properly and then pour it on your head after you are done with washing your hair.

Hair Packs

Hair packs provide a lot of nourishment to your hair in summers. But you need to decide a hair pack based on the type of hair problem you have. I would suggest a protein hair pack by breaking an egg in a cup and then adding 3 teaspoons of lemon juice, mix it and apply it in your hair for around 30 minutes and then wash it in cold water using a shampoo.

Diet and water

Take a proper diet and consume a lot of water as water throws out all the toxins of your body in the form of the urine.

Fighting pimples with simple home remedies.

I have read many articles about beauty on Reward Me, and inspiring from that here is my article to fight against acne using simple home remedies. Acne or pimples are one of the major concerns especially for teenagers, and in teenagers its a main topic of concern for the girls. Apart from teenagers, this problem also affects the adults, but the majorly it affects the teenagers.

Acne is a disease which generally occurs after the age of 13 to 14 years and its a disease where some red spots to appear on the faces of the victim. The general cause of acne is hormonal imbalances which occur during the age of adolescence. It is also genetically transmitted in some cases. But pimples on our face don't let us live properly, it creates many problems for us especially if you are a girl. It becomes difficult even to step out of the home with pimples and it is very important to prevent them.

Acne can be prevented by taking the following preventive measures:
  • Drinking a lot of water.
  • Avoiding oily foods.
  • Washing your face after coming from out.
  • Consuming a healthy diet.
These were the preventive measure through which you can prevent pimples but to get rid of them completely, you need to follow these home remedies:

1. Apply the juice of white carrot leaves.

The leaves of white carrots have the power to kill the toxins which give rise to pimples. It is recommended to apply at least four to five times a day. The juice of white carrot leaves will smell really horrible but you will have to bear with it. This treatment will remove all the pimples and clear the skin within 14 days.

2. Rub with peels of orange near the pimple.

Peels of orange can be rubbed on the part of the pimple, the juice which is released while rubbing kills the toxin. It is advisable to rub only the peels gently, don't try to rub them vigorously or directly apply the juice on the part of the pimple. The juice contains acetic acid, rubbing it more vigorously or directly applying the juice may result as a hole or dark spot on that portion of the face.

3. Rubbing boiled potatoes.

Boiled potatoes have the tendency to kill the toxin as well as fill the holes that have appeared on your face due to pimples.

4. Rubbing papaya or tomato.

Rubbing papaya or tomato provide vital proteins to cure the portion of the skin where there was a pimple.

5. Applying Fluid which is released from a raw papaya.

While cutting a raw papaya there is some white colored fluid which looks similar like milk coming out from the raw papaya. It is advisable to apply its purest form (without adding honey or milk) directly to the pimple. This will cure the problem of acne from the root, and acne will completely disappear from your face.

These were a few home remedies which can help you cure the pimples, I would really appreciate if the readers have got some better solutions and they share it in the comments section.

Keratin Treatment: Pros and Cons

When it comes to hair, every woman loves to have a kind of hair which are smoother, silky, sleeker and easier to style. People use expensive cosmetics to get such results but those results don't last too long. The reason behind those products failing to last long is that they give some temporary results and you need to use them at regular intervals to keep the results alive. Well, that is not recommended as the cosmetics are too expensive and it applying them on regular intervals also has its own advantages and disadvantages.

To find a solution for it, salon professionals came up with a new treatment known as the Keratin treatment. I and a few friends of mine also decided to go for such treatment as we saw some good results with other colleagues working with me. The Keratin treatment was a little expensive but the results that we got were great compared to results from the cosmetics. As instructed by the salon professionals we used to take that treatment after every 12 weeks which were equal to 3 months. This continued for around 1.5 years and from last 12 months all of us started facing a few problems such as rashes on skin, red patches on the back, etc. We tried a few home remedies and we also consulted a skin specialist. That was in the month of March and April this year when there is summer in India. The skin specialist also said that this generally happens in this season and we avoided this problem thinking that it will end as the rainy season starts.

We waited for two long months and then there were rains in Mumbai in the month of June but even after two weeks of rains, we were still facing the same problems. We then consulted a better dermatologist and she scanned our routine, we told her about the Keratin treatment that we were taking from the last  20 months. She made a report of her observations and she instructed us to stop this treatment and she prescribed us with some skin medicines. By the month of July there were some good news as well as some bad news for us, the good news was that the skin problems had reduced by some great margin but on the other hand my hair started going rough and dry.

I was preparing to write an article for a contest organized by Blogadda and coincidentally I found this article on the Reward Me site of P&G. This article mentioned the pros and cons about Keratin Treatment and also explained about how formaldehyde is injurious to our health. The symptoms mentioned were exactly relating the same what problems I was facing. And at the end of the article there was a solution given to get smooth and silky hair by avoiding the Keratin Treatment. The solution given there was to apply Wella Professional Silk-Treat Straight service on my hair. I have been trying this product from last three days and I can say that the solution really worked for me. The results so far are really great, the roughness of my hair is no longer a problem for me as I got a health friendly solution to my problems.

I hope this post helps you, do share your hair caring solutions if you have one in the comments section.

Tips to pamper stressed out skin.

Photographs are something everyone likes to take as memories at various occasions, but when it comes to take photographs without the make up, girls to try to stay far from the camera. This is something which happens almost with every second girl, we girls need to take a lot of care when the question comes to going out at some parties or family functions, meetings, etc. Without a proper make up it becomes difficult sometimes to show our faces to the world, this does not mean that we girls don't look beautiful, but still we take precautions before facing a camera.

I feel that the actresses who land on the red carpet of a ceremony are the lucky ones as they have a team along with them who take care of their beauty before they face any camera. But on the other hand we all are not that lucky to carry a few people along with us just to take care of our beauty. And if even a single black spot on our face gets captured in the camera, it is going to be in that image forever, and I don't think any person would like an ugly face as memories in a picture album.

Beauty of a girls face is never permanent, it may also differ to the lifestyle a girl is living in and the hormonal changes happening inside her body. Stress is something that every girl has to deal with in some or the other part of her life. And stress has a great effect on the beauty of a girl. A girl who is working for late at nights and not taking enough sleep will surely get her stress reflected on her face by getting dark circles near her eyes. Avoiding a proper diet meal due to stress can even result in loosing the glow of a girl's skin. On the other hand the menstrual cycle also plays a big role in maintaining a girl's beauty.

A few of my problems were solved after reading this article and taking a few tips from it. I have started practicing those tips from a week and I have got to observe these changes to on my face:

  • Skin has become more resistant to hot surfaces.
  • Dark spots have started to vanish.
  • Dryness level of the skin has gone down.
  • Skin has started glowing a lot.
  • Pimples on the face have reduced.
I would recommend my readers to try the beauty tips listed on this article and do share your experiences in the comments.

#MaxFresh moves of Allu Arjun that can set any stage on fire.

Music is something that refreshes us, but the fun even gets better when some cool dance moves are performed with it. There are many situations in our life when we celebrate to enjoy the good moments of our life in a better and energizing way, such occasions are sometimes in a birthday party, wedding celebrations, success parties in our office, college fresher's party, the celebration during Ganesh chaturthi festivals, etc.

All such celebrations are enjoyable only when we forget about all our worries and start enjoying the happy moments by singing and dancing and perform some moves which can freshen up the moment.

Here I have a few moves of Allu Arjun from the video of Taazgi ka Dhamaka which can freshen up the celebrating moments of our life.:

Here are the 3 moves performed by Allu Arjun in the video which I liked the most:

Move #1:

This move of Allu Arjun where he is dancing with the people who have come to attend the wedding in the video can be used to freshen up the people after a wedding of our cousin, friend or relative is over and people are just having some good time chatting with each other and eating some snacks.

I was in such a situation where people are just sitting in a wedding and looking at each others face, I would probably tell someone to start the music and bring a few people on the stage or in the center and perform a few traditional moves of garba and get other people dancing. Looking at this a few more people would also join me and start enjoying the moments.

Move #2:

This is a kind of move that I will perform when we are celebrating some birthday party in our time or at the time of Ganesh Visarjan. The specialty of this move is that with this move you can get the elders of your family to enjoy wit the same energy as the other people in the party are enjoying. The elders of our family are generally those part of the party who sit in a corner and enjoy watching others.

My approach to them would be by performing a step in front of them in which they feel comfortable dancing and come in the center to enjoy the party with that energetic feeling which they used to have at the time when they were young. By doing this step it will b my responsibility that I can bring them back to their age of 20-30's so that they enjoy completely.

And when a senior of our family performs such steps in any occasions, surely the stage will set to fire with their energy and happiness on their faces.

Move #3:

This is a kind of move that can freshen up the moment at the time when you welcome Lord Ganesha to your home at the time of the Ganesh Chaturthi. We generally welcome the idol of Lord Ganesha to our home with big dhols and tasha played if we have a very high budget for the celebration, but incase if you have a low budget then you surely bring them with silence.

I think that money has not got anything to deal with the happiness of that moment and money can't stop us from celebrating the auspicious celebration. I would just play some Bollywood music loud on a my television and bring everyone in the center to enjoy the welcome of Lord Ganesha with a great energy.

Readers will be appreciated if they would like to share any moves that they liked in that video performed by Allu Arjun and Anushka Manchanda and how it can bring refreshing energy in some situation.

Taazgi ka Dhamaka with my favorite music.

I am blogging for #MaxFreshMove activity atBlogAdda in association with Colgate MaxFresh

Music is something which has a very great importance in our life. We wake up early in the morning and have a loads of work to do throughout the day, we prefer starting our day with some exercises and music to refresh ourselves and make ourselves feel a little energetic. Almost every third person reading this blog may have the habit of listening to music early in the morning, and if they don't have then surely they would have seen their parents or grandparents or neighbors doing it. No matter what music we prefer varying from religious songs or bhajans, Bollywood songs or English songs, but any kind of music we listen in the morning refreshes us and gives an energizing start for the day.

Here I have a video where the music of Anushka Manchanda and the moves of Allu Arjun have set the stage on fire in a boring wedding environment.

But in our practical  lives we can't have these celebrities coming up at our places, but we do have a favorite playlist that we play every time to refresh ourselves and fill some great energy in our life. Here is my playlist which gets me moving and gives me a Taazgi ka Dhamaka:

Kabhi Kabhi mere Dil me Khayal ata hai

This song by Mukesh is loved by three different generations in my family. My grandmother, my mother and by me. I do listen it once everyday.

Pani Da Rang by Ayushmann Khurana

This song from the movie Vicky Donor stands second in my playlist. One of the best Punjabi Songs I have heard till today.

Banjaarey

This song sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh is the only work I like made by him. The way the guitar is played in this movie is really awesome.

Mitti Di Khushboo

There are few songs listening to their lyrics you can guess the meaning of the song, but this song by Ayushmann Khurana has a great backgroung music which makes us feel the song. Hats off to the artists of this song.

Sooraj Dooba Hai Yaaro

This is one of the two best songs from the movie Roy who have won the hearts of millions of people who love or do not love Bollywood songs. The composition of this song is really great that it can be played in parties as well.

Tu hai ki nahi

This is the second song from the same movie Roy which is my favorite. I specially like the whistle tune of this song.

Hosanna

This song by A. R. Rahman is the most romantic composition by him. I love the music of this song.

Zindagi Aa Rahaan Hoon Main

This is one of the best albums of Atif Aslam. And the moves of Tiger Shroff are really great. Hats off to both the guys.

Jeena Jeena

This is another great song by Atif Aslam. It has a loving melody.

These were a few songs that I listen to refresh myself. I would really appreciate if the readers share their playlists in the comments section.
